My current research, memories of Joanna Macy, and reflections on the future of the Work that Reconnects
12月のゲストはショーン・ケリーさんです。日本滞在中のショーンに現在、研究テーマとして取り組んでいること、ジョアンナから受け継いだものとこれからの「つながりを取り戻すワーク」に対しての思いをお聞きしたいと思います。
ショーンさんからのお話の後、集い合い、問い合う場として、ズームのブレイクアウト・ルームで思いや問いをシェアしながら進めます。
通訳はジョアンナの本の翻訳者であり、ショーンさんのパートナーでもある齋藤由香さんにお願いしました。
The guest for December is Sean Kelly. We’d like to hear from Sean, currently in Japan, about his current research focus, what he has inherited from Joanna, and his thoughts on the future of “Reconnecting Work.”
Following Sean’s talk, we will proceed by gathering together and engaging in inquiry, sharing thoughts and questions in Zoom breakout rooms.
Interpretation will be provided by Yuka Saito, translator of Joanna’s book and Sean’s partner.

ショーン・ケリーさん カリフォルニア統合学研究所（CIIS）の哲学・宇宙論・意識研究教授。著書に『Becoming Gaia: On the Threshold of Planetary Initiation』および『Coming Home: The Birth and Transformation of the Planetary Era』、また共編に『Psyche Unbound: Essays in Honor of Stanislav Grof』と『The Variety of Integral Ecologies: Nature, Culture, and Knowledge in the Planetary Era』がある。
ショーンは長年にわたる中国の内家拳の実践者であり、ジョアンナ・メイシーが開発した「つながりを取り戻すワーク」の訓練を受けたファシリテーターでもある。
Sean Kelly is Professor of Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). He is the author of Becoming Gaia: On the Threshold of Planetary Initiation and of Coming Home: The Birth and Transformation of the Planetary Era. He is also co-editor of Psyche Unbound: Essays in Honor of Stanislav Grof and of The Variety of Integral Ecologies: Nature, Culture, and Knowledge in the Planetary Era. Sean is also a longtime practitioner of Chinese internal martial arts and is a trained facilitator in The Work that Reconnects developed by Joanna Macy.

2023年5月からスタートしたオンラインサロンです。
当サロンでは、ジョアンナ・メイシーとその仲間たちによって生み出され、世界中に広がっている「つながりを取り戻すワーク」を日本に紹介し、ワークをひろめるために尽力されてきた方たちのお話を聞いたり、ワークの体験会や、ファシリテーターの交流・勉強会など、つながりを取り戻すワークの「これまで」と「これから」について、月1回、学んだり共有したりする機会を作っています。
サロンの参加費は、Webサイト（https://activehope.jp/）の維持管理や「つなとりサロン」等の運営費用として使わせていただきます。
